Price Of Stair Lift – Considerations

The price of a stairlift will depend on a few factors:

• Your staircase layout – in particular whether you have a straight or a curved staircase.
• Your weight – heavy duty stairlifts are designed specifically for a larger sized user, standard weight capacity stairlifts range from 18-20 stone weight limits. Larger heavy duty models can carry up to 29 stone.
• New or reconditioned – we offer a range of reconditioned stairlifts to suit your budget. Reconditioned stairlifts are thoroughly tested and come with a warranty covering you for call-outs parts and labour.
• Whether your staircase is suitable – is it very narrow, for example.

With a very narrow staircase, you might need a specific model of stairlift which caters to more difficult fittings. (See also stair lifts for narrow stairs). If you have a doorway in the corridor, or there is limited space we will recommend a specific brand/model which will be an appropriate fit.
