We provide the following Occupational Therapy Services:

Assessment of Activities of Daily Living.

Some of the areas covered by such an assessment are: mobility, seating, moving and handing and personal care.

Production of Professional OT Reports for both private and public sectors.

Following an OT assessment, the written report makes recommendations for appropriate equipment and adaptations which would assist the client in their ability to function as much as possible in all aspects of their daily life. We have experience in providing reports for Housing Associations, Social Services and for private individuals.

Recommendation and Provision of Equipment and Adaptations.

We supply a full range of disability equipment: stair lifts, seating, bathing, mobility aids etc

Hire

Following assessment, the option to hire equipment to ensure suitability may be suggested. We also hire out a range of disability equipment for short term use, for example: wheel chairs, commodes, shower chairs, hoists.

The Care Team has been working in the Greater Manchester and Cheshire area for over thirty years, providing unique, expert Occupational Therapy advice and products across a range of seating, mobility, bathing, manual handling and stair solutions.

Our specialist Occupational Therapists can visit you or give you advice over the phone. We sell a range of new or pre-used equipment to suit your budget. We also offer a unique “hire before you buy” service to ensure that you trial equipment to ensure it exactly meets your needs, before you decide to buy. We also hire equipment to meet your short or long term needs perhaps for post-op recovery or if you have a visitor staying with you who has specific medical equipment needs.

We pride ourselves in our friendly, local and rapid response to requests for assessment, delivery of equipment or call-outs for urgent problems.

We have an office in Urmston where you can pop in to see examples of some of the products we supply, but if you want to speak to one of our Occupational Therapists, it is always advised to make an appointment first.

We are dealers for most of the major manufacturers in the UK including Direct Healthcare, Primacare, Recliners, Careflex,  Tente, Roma, Drive Devibiss, Karma, Sumed, Repose and Harvest Healthcare. However we are not tied to any supplier, so we will supply to you the most appropriate equipment to suit your needs and budget.
